Mariagrazia DOTOLI


Ricercatore

     Mariagrazia Dotoli received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering with honours in 1995 and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1999, both from Politecnico di Bari (Italy).

    She has been a visiting scholar at the Paris 6 University (France) and at the Technical University of Denmark. Since 2003 she is expert evaluator of the European Commission for the Sixth and Seventh RTD Framework Programmes. She joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Politecnico di Bari (Italy) as Assistant Professor in systems and control engineering in 1999. Her research interests include modelling, identification, management, control and fault diagnosis by discrete event and computational intelligence techniques of automated manufacturing systems, supply chains and urban traffic networks.

    Dr. Dotoli has been co-chairman of the Training and Education Committee of ERUDIT, the European Commission network of excellence for fuzzy logic and uncertainty modeling in information technology. She has been key node representative of EUNITE, the EUropean Network of excellence on Intelligent Technologies and the reference for action "C4 - education" of COIL, the COmputational Intelligence and Learning Cluster, both funded by the European Commission.

    She is author or co-author of 105 printed publications, including 1 book (in Italian), 18 papers on international journals, 3 papers on national journals, 10 chapters of international books, 69 papers in the proceedings of international conferences, 2 papers in the proceedings of national conference, 1 Ph.D. Thesis and 1 Laurea Thesis. Her h-index equals 10 and her g-index is to 12.

    Dr. Dotoli is associate editor of the prominent international journals "The Mediterranean Journal of Measurement and Control", "International Journal of Automation and Control" and “International Journal of Systems Signal Control and Engineering Application".


    She has been chair of the National Organizing Committee of the 2009 2nd IFAC Workshop on Dependable Control of Discrete Systems, Bari, Italy
