Research interests are in parallel computing architectures and algorithms for application specific problems, with real time constraints.
Practical fields mainly (but not only) concern:
- pattern recognition in high frame rate video acquisition
- 3-D medical imaging
- artificial vision
- image compression
- data security
- digital and image processing, etc.
