Research interests are in parallel computing architectures and algorithms for application specific problems, with real time constraints.

Practical fields mainly (but not only) concern:

  • pattern recognition in high frame rate video acquisition
  • 3-D medical imaging
  • artificial vision
  • image compression
  • data security
  • digital and image processing, etc.
